Here we are gathering together to say good bye to our guides.

  • This reservoir flooded an old village. The church tower still stands.

  • At the end of the reservoir we decided to head north for an extra couple of kilometers to see the Austrian border.

  • This last day of riding we had been bussed up to the reservoir. We all descended various distances back to our hotel. A few of us went the full 50 miles (downhill).

  • The ride was largely along apple orchards. The ladies took time to get some.

  • Five of us went pretty hard and only stopped twice after lunch. We made good time and had a lot of fun, but didn't do much sightseeing (here is one of the two exceptions).
  • Our last dinner with the biking tour was at an old castle that has become a winery.
  • Here we are gathering together to say good bye to our guides.
  • On our last day we went on a walking tour.
